About First Milestones Academy
Our Vision & Mission
All of the research tells us that our children's healthy development depends on safe and positive experiences during their first milestones. As a parent who has other responsibilities such as work, attending school, or training during these early years, choosing top-quality childcare is one of the most important decisions you will ever make for your child and family. First Milestones Academy is a continuation of my journey and passion for childcare and development in the early stages.
Our Principles
To Keep a small student-teacher ratio, which allows us to provide care and attention as well as being able to educate the children with age-appropriate materials.
Provide a bright, fun, safe, and educational environment appropriate for children of all ages with dedicated areas for infants, crawlers, and toddlers in which they can learn, play, rest, interact with each other, and have nutritious meals.
Provide dedicated activity rooms for children to use their imagination skills and take their first milestones in exploring various learning activities.
Provide a dedicated and safe outside play area to have balanced active routines.
Our staff is carefully chosen from individuals who are genuine, dedicated, passionate, and share the same values. Additionally, we choose our caregivers based on higher education and experience in childcare. Our staff is screened through several background checks every year and are trained to implement our Academy's vision of a small child-to-teacher ratio individual attention and care.

First Milestones Academy is located in a 3000 sq ft newly renovated building where children have access to large space even during inclement weather of Northern Virginia
Our facility has multipurpose rooms where children can play, learn and thrive
Foreign Languages are offered as part of your tuition
We enroll infants from 6 weeks - 12 years
We are First Aid, CPR & Medication certified
We are particpants of USDA Food Program
The Academy is conviently located on the border of Annandale and Springfield conveniently assessable to 395/495 and other major commuting routes
